A blood donation camp was organized by the Multan Press Club in collaboration with Care & Cure Foundation and Safe Blood Services for patients suffering from blood disorders. Journalists actively participated and donated blood generously.
On this occasion, Dr. Zeeshan and Head Pathologist Maham Ashfaq conducted free medical tests for journalists. Head Nurse Ms. Shazia, Gul Akbar, and Najam-ul-Saqib were also present.
President of the Care & Cure Foundation, Azhar Mahmood Sheikh, stated that the blood donation camp was held due to the special efforts of Multan Press Club President Shakeel Anjum, Senior Vice President Khalid Chaudhry, General Secretary Nisar Awan, and other members.
He added that currently, there is a severe shortage of donated blood across Pakistan. The act of journalists donating blood for patients suffering from blood diseases is a commendable initiative. All citizens should contribute to providing blood donations for children and adults affected by blood disorders in Multan and across the country.
