Shakil Anjum

(President of Press Club)

Shakil Anjum is the President of the Multan Press Club and the Bureau Chief of Express News. This marks the 15th time he has been elected President—and notably, the 2nd time without any opposition. The journalistic history of Multan would always remain incomplete without Shakil Anjum. His humble nature is one of his defining traits. He has successfully completed hundreds of welfare projects. Among his notable achievements are the construction of the newly built Press Club building, the realization of the dream of the Journalist Colony, providing subsidies on various items for the convenience of Press Club members, the release of millions of rupees in funds for the Press Club, the renovation of the Press Club, fruitful efforts for the welfare of journalists, and many other initiatives. These actions have made Shakil Anjum a beloved president. His charm and leadership have captivated the people of Multan. Even his opponents acknowledge his successes. With strong leadership qualities, Shakil Anjum is determined to complete Phase 2 of the Journalist Colony, and journalists in Multan are hopeful that he will continue to bring even more conveniences for them.
